January Hairston

Is a 27 year old worship leader/ worship artist from Roanoke VA. Born directly into a musical family of singers and musicians she was also given the beautiful gift of singing. She began singing at a young age by participating in musical events in and out of school. January gave her life to the lord Jesus and began to sing at church. In 2017 January wrote and released her first single titled “ready”  and in 2020 wrote and released her album titled “ The Journey”. She has also been featured on several fellow artists musical projects. In 2018 and 2019 January won “Artist of the Year Award” at the Berglund Center in Roanoke va from the UBU Gospel Award show and “Icon of the year Award”.  Now January leads worship in Roanoke va and surrounding areas. God has given her the opportunity to sing on many stages, church conferences and festivals. January knows that Singing isn’t a hobby but a true passion and most of all singing about king Jesus makes it worth while and a thousand times better.
